Our Mission
Mercy Trips exists to de-stigmatize psychedelics within the Body of Christ, to inform Christians about their documented healing and mystical benefits, and to guide seekers back into direct encounter with the Love that casts out fear.

We teach from Scripture, science, history and lived experience. We remember that Christ is a Presence to encounter; that God created and illuminates all that lives; that Love, not fear, is the energy of the Kingdom.

We do not supply substances and we do not encourage individuals to take any action that they do not feel God is leading them to take.
We help Christians discern wisely, heal deeply, and meet God within and in all things.

About Scott
Scott Mackey is a novelist, activist, and strategist working at the intersection of faith, politics, spirituality, and social innovation. He is the author of Love Is Not the Answer, an allegorical satire exploring spirituality, our fractured political culture, and the path of personal transformation. Scott grew up as a missionary kid inside a right wing evangelical world in rural East Texas, an environment that shaped him with intense faith, deep questions, and a lifelong curiosity about the soul. He lost his childhood faith in college and spent the next fifteen years searching for meaning in politics, achievement, relationships, and every possible distraction. That long, circular journey from dogma to disillusionment to a renewed encounter with God now fuels his purpose: helping people meet their true selves and the God who shaped and loves them. His work includes writing, one on one guidance, pro bono support for underserved communities, and an ongoing exploration of how worldviews are formed, shattered, healed, and reborn. He studies how belief shapes identity, how identity shapes action, and how spiritual transformation can ripple outward into culture, community, and collective healing.
